Crispy Smashed Potatoes with Herb Aioli


  1. Mix all the ingredients for the herb aioli in a small bowl and set aside to chill in the refrigerator.  
  2. Place the potatoes in a medium pot filled with cold salted water. 
  3. Boil the potatoes until a knife easily pierces through without any resistance.  
  4. Strain the potatoes and let cool for easy handling.  
  5. Combine the potatoes, avocado oil, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and smoked paprika in a small bowl. Toss to coat.  
  6. Smash the potatoes gently with the palm of your hands, crushing them only halfway so that they stay intact.  
  7. Coat the Cosori Smart Air Fryer basket lightly with oil spray.  
  8. Place the potatoes directly into the air fryer basket, without the crisper plate.  
  9. Select the Air Fry function, adjust temperature to 400°F and time to 15 minutes, then press Start/Pause 
  10. Remove the potatoes when done. 
  11. Serve hot with a side of aioli.
