Mushroom Pizza

  1. Mix together flour and salt until well combined in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. Whisk together water, honey, yeast, and olive oil in a large bowl. Allow the yeast to bloom for 5 minutes.
  3. Mix in the flour into the bloomed yeast, mix until just combined, then cover and allow the dough to rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Place the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead until it forms a ball, about 3 minutes. 
  5. Place the dough on a lightly floured surface and dust the top of the dough lightly with flour as well.
  6. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and rest in a warm place for 2 hours or until doubled in size.
  7. Drizzle olive oil onto the food tray and rub along the sides of the pan.
  8. Stretch the rested dough and place onto the oiled food tray.
  9. Drizzle some olive oil on top of the dough and rub it on the top. 
  10. Cover the dough and allow it to rest for 1 hour. 
  11. Stretch the dough to fill out the sides of the food tray.
  12. Spread the top of the dough with pizza sauce, followed by mozzarella cheese, then mushrooms, mushrooms, and chopped basil.
  13. Sprinkle the top of the pizza to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  14. Select the Pizza and Preheat functions on the Cosori Air Fryer Oven, then press Start/Pause
  15. Place the pizza onto the middle rack of the preheated air fryer oven, then press Start/Pause. The air fryer oven will let you know when it is done preheating. 
  16. Remove the pizza from the oven when done cooking and allow it to rest for 10 minutes.
  17. Cut the pizza in slices and serve.
