Ultimate Mac and Cheese


  1. Select Preheat on the Cosori Air Fryer and press Start.
  2. Combine the milk, cream, 2 tbsp melted butter, flour, 1 tbsp kosher salt, mustard powder and cayenne pepper in the Cosori Air fryer Cake Pan Accessory. Whisk well to combine, getting red of any lumps in the flour. Stir in the macaroni and half of the cheeses. Cover tightly with foil.
  3. Set the Air Fryer temperature to 370 F, and set the time to 15 minutes. Place the cake pan into the air fryer basket, close, and press Start. When the timer goes off, carefully stir the rest of the cheese into the macaroni, and then return to the Air Fryer to cook for an additional 15 minutes.
  4. Combine panko breadcrumbs, 1 tbsp melted butter, onion and garlic powders, and a large pinch of salt into a bowl and stir to combine.
  5. Remove the foil from the mac and cheese, stir it well to combine, and taste a macaroni noodle to make sure it is cooked thoroughly. If the macaroni is still slightly hard, add ¼ cup more milk, recover, and cook an additional 5 minutes at 370. When the macaroni is perfectly cooked, spread the panko breadcrumbs evenly over the top, then return to the Air Fryer uncovered to bake an additional 5 minutes at 400 degrees.
  6. Pull the mac and cheese out the Air Fryer, let cool slightly to thicken and set.
  7. Sprinkle chopped parsley on top and serve.
